Helicopter Superyacht-Safety Management

 

We recognise that Safety Management and its associated documentation has an increasingly important function in the safe and efficient running of a superyacht. Following a preliminary visit to a yacht we will draught a 'Concept of Operations' document which enables us to understand how the owner wishes to use his helicopter/helideck. We can then determine exactly what equipment and training is required.

The procedures we produce for normal and contingency operations are incorporated into the vessels safety management system, configure managed and updated to reflect a change in operations if required. For completeness, relevant training media will be utilised to capture any procedures during the bespoke training packages and included into any training material.

We produce a mini guide for the Helideck Landing Officer with extracts from the various documents into one easy to read ready reference manual.

Similarly, should your operation charter helicopter and pilot, we can produce a guide for the helicopter operator to include procedures with photographs, and including any contingency plans.
